MFT Interns & Trainees

Inspired Interns is a monthly process therapy group tailored for Interns and Trainees. They earn personal psychotherapy hours while easing the stresses of working toward licensure. Here’s the Inspired Interns group flyer.

Private Practice for Interns: I also run one-day intensive trainings to help motivated Interns launch their own private practice (under supervision). Begin your career now instead of waiting until you are licensed. The next training is coming up on April 9, 2016. Here’s the Private Practice Intensive flyer.

My trainings for therapists also include enhancing empathic connection with clients,  increasing introspective focus/growth, facing issues of becoming and being a therapist and helping therapists understand and work with alternative lifestyle clients as well as issues of sexual diversity. This is done through classes, published articles and group discussions. These trainings take place regularly at local centers and universities including Stanford, Santa Clara University, JFK University, Mission College and the Sunnyvale Community Counseling Center.

Additionally I do help coach candidates for the MFT Licensing Exams. Here is an article about my experience studying for exams. Sometimes it’s surprising what we end up learning when we study.

I enjoy helping people become skilled therapists. I had wonderful mentors and guides along my journey, I’m grateful to be providing the same to others.
